In 1846 the Lisbon Company of Spinning & Cloth – one of the largest factories in Lisbon, was opened in Alcântara. Over the years this industrial site of 23.000m2 was occupied by various historical companies.
This charming piece of Lisbon hidden from the world for years, was returned to the city in the form of LXFACTORY. This creative island, previously occupied by industrial professionals, is now the stage to a diverse range of events in fashion, advertising, arte, architecture, music, etc. Generating a dynamic pivot which attracts countless visitors and rediscovering this charming area of Alcântara.
